Something about planning a trip with this much information in advance strikes me as wrong. I remember Colin Fletcher complaining that guidebooks were a step in the wrong direction.

Using this would certainly diminish the sense of adventure I feel when encountering a trail for the first time. If you already know whats out there, why bother?

These are well used freeways (oops... Trails). They should be avoided at all costs. There are always better and empty trails.
