I see it as an even debate today. I was surprised how much Obama likes to cherry pick. Regardless, Romney won the first, they tied the second, and Biden looked like a fool. Seems to me that still puts Romney / Ryan ahead.

The debate reminds me of a joke I heard recently:

A moderate, a liberal and a conservative walk into a bar. The bartender says: Hi Romney!

Seemed pretty even to me, but after seeing the physco Biden in the last debate, and knowing he is next in line if something happens to Obama should be enough to scare any rational person from voting this ticket!

I would be more worried about Ryan becoming the President than Biden

"Bet you still voted for McCain with that dizzy ditz in tow..."

"I would be more worried about Ryan becoming the President than Biden"

I am exposed to very few "liberals", for lack of a better word, Modern democrats, or whatever we care to describe it... and I have to admit, I just don't understand the rationale or line of thinking. Probably never will, either. As much as it interests me, I will just have to admit that it is probably beyond my grasp.

"do anything to make him fail" and i cannot respect that at all. They would rather the ship sink than to help patch the leak. pretty sad when the state of the country isn't the first priority.."

Don't confuse the lack of compromise with not putting the counrty first. No need to go part way, the wrong direction. I believe a failing Dem agenda is this country's only hope. Pick up a history book and you might change your mind.

"Romney is against g@y rights and pro-choice.. right there puts him out of my mind regardless of what else he says."

I am in the same boat as you except on the opposite side of those coins. I agree with the Dem candidates on many topics, but have a hard time voting for them due to those issues and a couple others. It makes it even tougher when the Republican's keep throwing garbage candidates out there. McCain is the only one in the last two Rep tickets that is even remotely credible.

I reside in a fairly conservative fly-over state, work in a conservative field, am involved in a hobby that tends to attract conservative people, was raised by conservative parents, and married into a conservative family. I tried to be different, but couldn't make sense of it. Now I are one I guess.

"Honey-boo boo???"

I don't get it I guess.

Why do liberals try and drag so many State issues to the Federal level? I don't know if it's ignorance, circumvention, or what.

Fred's a pretty intelligent guy - I can tell that from reading his posts (regardless of whether or not I agree with him). I'm pretty sure he intentionally used 'improper English,' since it's a well-worn phrase, used often.

But if you're going to mock someone for his misuse of the language, you should, perhaps, ensure you've spelled fairly simple words properly in your own post. Just sayin'......

And I'd venture to guess that most people don't think that EVERY citizen should have the same rights as another. Our judicial system takes away rights all the time, and most of us think that's a good thing.
