FWIW, Chris made a pack pretty close to the same specs as this one and it is an awesome pack! I used it on about 300 miles of hiking in bear canister required Sierra hikes this summer, and it rides well, shows no wear, and fits a Bearikade Weekender perfectly. I just figured I would give this pack a thumbs up if anyone is looking.
