The Master Lock I take to the gym weighs 6 1/2 ounces. I use my backpack to carry my clothes to/from the gym each day.

On day 3 of my recent 5 day backpack I discovered that I had accidentally taken the lock with me on the backpack trip......hidden in the bottom corner of the pack.

So, assuming this will happen again, I'd like to buy a lighter padlock. Any suggestions? I'm thinking aluminum, carbon or cuben fiber or even plastic would be lighter.

Why not just take your shirt off while you're at the gym? One look at all that sweaty hair and no one will want to steal your clothes. Just a thought.....
