I am flying to CA in a few days, on my way to Yosemite. I plan on bringing my MSR Dragonfly. I dried the fuel bottle and it has no lingering fuel smell. I also took apart and dried out areas of the pump that had small amounts of remaining fuel. Any recommendations on how to not have it confiscated by security? I would hate to get there, or home, and find it not in my bag. Thanks in advance for any help.

Throw it into a USPS priority box and ship it out to a post office next to where you will be landing at or heading too.

Yup. I have learned that even if the TSA rules say something is allowed, most employees do not seem to know them all. It is much easier to avoid the situation and ship it ahead.
