Glasses or Contacts on 03/08/2007 11:32:11 MST Print View

So I've been debating for some time about which is better for a week or longer trip. Which do you take? Glasses or Contacts? and why do you so choose?

To date I like the hassle freeness of glasses, but I don't like the fact that they fog up in the morning and I prefer to wear contacts in everyday life.

Contacts on the other hand, require juice, containers etc. If one wanted to sleep in contacts, something I have rarely done, I have always heard they get gooey after a week.

What's the general consensus? Which do you find to be the better option? Or perhaps does it all boil down to personal preference?

Within the last couple of months there was another Thread about this. It had many Posts in it. No problem at all bringing this subject up. It happens all of the time with new people coming to the Forums. So, just click the little blue (if your Browser is using the BPL websites color scheme) "Search Forums" hyperlink (NOT the "Search BPL" edit box in the upper right of a BPL web page) and enter an appropriate search phrase like "contacts", or "contact lens", or "glasses", etc. You should find that Thread - a lot of good experiences are shared there, from glasses, to contacts, to LASIK.
