I was looking through plastic- buckle.com and I found a tri-ring that works with 1/4" flat cord that might be beefy enough to used for a super ultralight draw string compression system. It look thicker than the regular mitten hook "O" rings. They also have lots of 3/8" and 1/2" hardware options for you super ultralight cuben guys. and if you by 10 or more quaintly you get a discount.
