I'm not clever enough to think of a punch line but I love delivering a straight line (usually without trying) and having someone come up with a punch line that makes me laugh. I love to laugh and I think it is healthy to do so.

Example: To impress my nephew with my machismo I told him I had been in the Marine Corps. Before I could fully pronounce the "or" in Corps he came back with "oh, did you work in the gift shop?" (think sticking a balloon with a pin).

The only price I pay for these hilarious moments is that I look like a fool for the moment. It is like I'm the blond in the dumb blond joke. So what? The reward is ten times the price.
