In what appears to be an attempt to compete a little more closely on weight with Jetboil, MSR has introduced a 1L pot for the reactor. The 1L pot/stove combo will be sold as a set (weighing 16.7oz, or 474g) or the pot can be purchased separately. MSR has also tweaked their 4oz fuel canister so that the stove and canister nest inside the 1L pot. Additionally (not necessarily of interest to all UL backpackers), MSR will also be introducing a coffee press for both the 1.0L and 1.7L pots as well as a stove hanging system for climbers.
