New Balance Minimus Trail V2

New Balance has re-vamped the Minimus Trail line, based on requests by users. They have modified the tread pattern, changed the fabrics of the uppers slightly, and have made adjustments across the metatarsals to give a little more freedom in the toebox. The new model is being dubbed the Minimus Trail V2.

Minimus Trail V2 called MT1010 and WT1010 on 08/02/2012 23:52:33 MDT Print View

Just posted this as well under its MT1010 name - I've been waiting for these for a long time. Curious to see how they compare in fit, cushion and protection to the Saucony Xodus 3.0 and Peregrine 2. They all have a 4mm drop and the MT1010 and Xodus 3.0 have a rock plate (not sure about the Peregrine 2). I found the Peregrine and Xodus both super comfortable sized up, but the Xodus was better cushioned and sole more protective than the Peregrine. I'm guessing the MT1010 likely feels more like the Peregrine. Hope to try on the MT1010 soon.

If anyone tries the MT1010, please share your impressions.
