"Now with a CCF pad with R .75, where exactly do you plan to use it."

Supplement it with your pad for a little extra warmth, protect your air pad, or if your hardcore enough use it as your only pad during summer seasons.

I'm going to wait for a thicker one to try out. (:

I'm maxed out on 1/8" foam (and foam in general) for awhile so I probably won't be buying any soon.

Shipping to Australia on 07/31/2012 22:40:14 MDT Print View

Hi Lawson,

Any idea on price to ship to Australia? I had a couple of mates ask me about mine last weekend when we were snow camping.

I'd be interested in the price to ship 1,2 or 3.

Thanks,

Rod

r .75 is pretty good if true for .125", that's I think r .25 better than evazote if actual.

really want to see your thicker pads, I hate neoair more than any pad I've ever used, possibly even more than old style 3/8 ccf, so it's time to start exploring old school thick closed cell again I think.

But worth checking out the 1/8 in the meantime, so I'll probably get one too.

By the way, is this sort of soft and flexible like evazote, or is it a bit stiffer and less flexible, like plastazote?

A cut down piece would weigh around 3oz I guess, that's 72x20, but I like you are doing bigger pieces, the scraps are really useful for other stuff.

Folding on 08/01/2012 05:07:12 MDT Print View

Any idea how this pad would work folded?
Rigidity while folded?
I'm thinking about one to extend the temp of my poorly insulated blow-up pad and use it as a pack frame as well?
