CCF Pads; Coming Soon on 07/31/2012 17:14:55 MDT Print View

Hey Everyone,

The foam sleeping pads are coming soon.. If you missed the discussion there was a forum on here I started several months ago looking for feedback. The foam is the same as before with a density of 2 Lbs per cubic ft, 18%EVA, 10.9lbs of Tear, and 550% Elongation at Break, R6 per inch.. Basically on paper its better then Evazote and Supazote.. I have been using a sample pad for a while now and it works great and is super durable for its thickness. I plan to sell the pads in several thicknesses, but since I received a ton of requests for the 1/8"x24"x74" size, I am going to start off with this size and then go from there... The weight for this pad is 4.0oz but it can vary from pad to pad due to manufacturing tolerances. Even though its very thin, it still has an insulation value of R.75. The cost will be $15.00 including free shipping.. Who is interested?

I'm assuming these pads will be at least $10 and qualify for your insanely awesome free shipping situation?

I probably need one. My evazote pad tore something awful recently. Any ideas on pricing?

Thanks, Lawson

Usage on 07/31/2012 20:53:55 MDT Print View

where do you folks plan to use this pad? as a summer pad?

I'm confused here. When I started accumulating gear last May, I was told to get good R value airpad, I went and bought myself a Therma-rest All seasons large, while its super comfy and nice to sleep on, I find its a hassle to blow inflate and deflate it.

Now I got Therma-rest zlite sol and used it once, I get pretty decent sleep on it but not sure if it works in fall as the temperature drops.

Now with a CCF pad with R .75, where exactly do you plan to use it.

Put me down for one. I've been really close to getting another full length 1/8" pad. I will wait to try yours.
