I am sooo dangerously close to clicking the "buy" button on a Revelation quilt right now!
I blame everyone of you here on BPL for the rave reviews of Elightened Equipment and Tim Marshall & co. :)

Seriously, I am looking to replace my WM ultralight 20 bag with a similar rated quilt.
Been using my WM bag as a quilt for years anyway since it is a bit too tight in the shoulder area when used as a bag. But then it is a bit drafty when used as a quilt at times.
Seems like I could save 15 ounces in the process and gain the ability to wear layers underneath without compressing the fill from the inside out which happens in my WM.

My willpower is fading fast...

Lots of 6' WIDE 20* and 10* next week, even a couple 0* We are still shipping made to order down quilts in about 3 weeks and synthetics in about a week. Epiphany is the only exception as our slowest worker build these, me (4-6 weeks)

So I did succumb to all this peer pressure and bought one of the rev x quilts...ordered it Friday, received it Monday. Very well-built, VERY poofy, nice fabric. I get to take it on a test drive next weekend...

And for Christmas I may buy myself one of the higher-grade revelation ones, too...that's how impressed I am with the price and the service.

Much to my surprise, as I wasn't expecting it until late this week to early next, the EE Rev-X 10F w/ 30% overfill arrived today.
It looks meticulously made (no loose strings, straight & tight stitching), has incredible loft directly out of the box, and really like how the exterior olive brown and interior orange colors complement each other.
Additionally, couldn't find a single blemish in the fabric.....
This is my first quilt with Karo Baffles so it will be time for me to compare between my quilts with traditional/horizontal baffles - though have no reason to doubt its performance.
Tim has meshed a very fine product with high quality personalized customer service resulting in an exceptional purchasing experience.

Can't wait to hit the trail with quilt in tow :-)

I highly recommend EE for the quality, deal like pricing, and customer service....(+1)
