Finally got a chance to play with the Tenkara rod back in mid May. Caught quite a few Cherry Trout:

After catching and releasing over 20 Cherry Trout, went over to another stream to try to find some Lenok (Manchurian Trout).Lenoksign

It was a parachute olive dun version tied by the guy who took me--his own special fly for these waters. They hit it pretty good.

Cary, Great to see you have found some time and great fishing water in Korea. Thanks for posting a report with pictures from another part of the world. I'm looking forward to some Tenkara fishing with you in the future.
