I just got terrible customer service from Road Runner Sports, despite being in their $30 a year VIP program. Evidently their inventory system can't even tell their customer service reps if they really have any in stock. If there are really none in stock, they cancel your order without notifying you, even if you ask them to call. Two days later you might get an email saying your order was cancelled. That's great if you have several weeks to play with when ordering new shoes, but it sure didn't work for me.
