You can add your own waypoints and print a small section of it.

gmap4 and caltopo are both great but you can't (at least I haven't been able to figure out how) print in high enough resolution, so I usually use hillmap. The only thing missing from hillmap is the ability to add UTM grids. Excellent site, though.

If you use Firefox then you can print Gmap4 maps as follows:

1. Click File ==> Print preview
2. Use the controls that appear at the top of the screen and (A) pick landscape and (B) adjust the scale
3. Click print
