Looking for some crampons and an ice axe,Thanks!
You probably want to state what sizes you are looking for.--B.G.--
Hi John,These posts would generally go in Gear Swap. You may get more response over there.Of course you may be looking for a good deal on a new pair. If so it's probably worth stating this explicitly.Good lock,Rod
Doh!Don't know how I managed to do that. You'd think I was new here :)Is there any way of deleting this/moving it to gear swap. And I've found some crampons already, now just need an ice axe, preferably 65cm or 70cm.
I have a Grivel Mont Blanc Air Tech which I measured from point to point to come out at 65.4 cm. I bought this a number of years ago but the knees and back went before the trip and winter games are no longer in my abililty. There is a bunch of rust on the saw part (flat) but I think it is just cosmetic. The flat part of the axe has some small speckles of rust. Please let me know if this does it for you. If so let me know what you think a fair price is (shipping would be extra). If we agree then it is yoursKevin (Paddy)
I have an excellent condition, Black Diamond Raven Ice Axe used for one trip over three days in snow. Don't know the exact length at the moment, but I am about 6'2". Color is grey. http://www.blackdiamondequipment.com/en-us/shop/climb/ice-axes-piolets/raven-ice-axe/$50 shipped or best offer.
I have a black diamond raven I would consider trading for one of your nice bivies. Its 70 cm. The axe is in like-new condition

Thank you for the offer Kevin, but I think I'd like to get one without much rust on it.Patrick and Ben, I'm interested. I might have someone selling me a Camp Corsa, which I'd prefer, but if that falls though, you'll both be getting PMs.Thanks!
John, I don't know if you're aware, but the Corsa is not a substitute for a mountaineering axe; rather, it is a specialized aluminum tool, good only in soft snow conditions (i.e. summer melt).
