FS:Montbell's lightest windshirt with a hood. They call it the 'Wind Blast'. 216g(7.8oz) in Large, light blue color("SMBL" in the picture below), two hand pockets with zippers, hood with drawstring, new DWR coating, OEM stuffsack. Will sell for $25 plus shipping(about $15). Condition:excellent, new DWR coating properly applied (washed with pure soap no detergent, drip dried, DWR sprayed on, set with a warm iron)
My experience with this jacket is that the fabric breathes well and allows free moisture transport, while still blocking about 80% of the wind. Keeping the DWR coating applied properly will give you 10 to 20 minutes of light rain resistance. This is not a rain shell. I am totally happy with the performance of this jacket, just replacing it with a lighter jacket (at triple the cost).
Retail price is equivalent to $45, but it is not sold in the US to my knowledge. So you will probably be the first hiker in your 'hood to have one.
