"Recent Bassnectar is verging on non-listenable to me, but love the older stuff and the live shows are (almost always) great."

Divergent Spectrum, I thought was amazing. VaVa Voom was pretty horrible, but I'm pretty sure Lorin knows the fans didn't care for it.

I've seen him four different times, but at Red Rocks he tends to blow everyone's mind. His visuals alone are worth the ticket price (Insert ecstasy joke here).

BBC Radio One Dance Shows on 06/20/2012 15:42:14 MDT Print View

Love em. Use a little tool called Radio Downloader to download the BBC shows, and save them as MP3 to listen to on the go.

Annie Mac, Tong, Essential Mixes, occasional DNB. Good stuff.

Right now I am digging the swedish house mafia, they tickle the big beat itch. :)

thousands of records on 06/20/2012 17:47:50 MDT Print View

as a former rave dj, like in a warehouse at 4am, i had to haul around records, lots of records. i never knew if i was spinning for an hour, two hours, or 6 hours. and i had no idea what the crowd was going to be into so i needed to make sure i had something to keep the flow rolling.

i would bring 100-150 records with me and hope for the best. the record crate was heavy and would make some normal backpacker's load look UL.

today it's a USB hard drive and a light weight laptop. i miss the days of lugging records ;)

Hi folks,

I am delighted with all the responses, I am packing my kit for a trip to the Indian Peaks tomorrow but will reply properly when I get back next week.

Cheers,
