Patrol Tarps on 06/18/2012 14:41:07 MDT Print View

Anyone care to suggest relatively inexpesive tarps ($60 or so) that we could purchase for our patrols to use as a dining fly/ shelter?

Clearly my really nice sil tarp is too delicate and expensive. Looking ideally for something with multiple webbing tie outs, not too, too heavy and somewhat bombproof.

Preferably a step up from a wally world blue tarp.

Any suggestions would be appreaciated.

I've got a bunch of guys that like to cowboy camp and if I can get a decent-sized patrol tarp to eat under I bet they will ditch the heavy tents for good.

look into the kelty noah square tarps. Lots or tie outs and quite bombproof. 9, 12 and I think 16 foot square versions.

Looks like we're going to pick up some Kelty Noahs 12x12 from Campmor.

Thanks for all your help.
