WTB Trekking poles and daypack on 06/18/2012 00:12:39 MDT Print View

Looking to buy two or three sets of trekking poles, preferably with FlickLocks like on these BD's: http://www.blackdiamondequipment.com/en-us/shop/mountain/trekking-poles/trail-ergo-cork-trekking-pole

Also looking for a light daypack.

Anyone have anything they're looking to sell?

Thanks!

Andrew

I just bought these poles. Can't beat that price/weight.

"Can't beat that price/weight."

Good Grief, man! That's $50 each or $100 for a pair. And 14 ounces each. You have to be kidding me.

It's $50 total for both.

Edit: Oops my bad. Never liked those extended grips. Never utilized. Just dead weight. I would not like to buy poles unless I can try the grip out for myself.

@Andrew. Get shopping those close out poles from last year are going fast.

It's also 14 oz a pair.

There's been more than one thread discussing them in the last few months.

Used? on 06/18/2012 21:21:35 MDT Print View

I'd prefer to buy used items if possible. Any used poles or daypacks floating around out there?

RE: "WTB Trekking poles and daypack" what capacity pack? on 06/19/2012 08:59:38 MDT Print View

What capacity day pack are you lookong for?

I have a large Golite Litespeed pack (35L)that's been modified. Hydration sleeve removed, small internal pockets in hipbelt pockets removed, ice axe loops and tow loop removed and frame sheet lightened.

I'd do $35.00 shipped

Hi Andrew,
I have an orange Marmot Kompressor Plus daypack in very good, unmodified condition and some Black Diamond shock-absorbing flick-locks (well-used but functional) that I'd be willing to part with for $55 plus shipping for both the poles and pack as a set. Can post pictures tonight if you are interested. Some links:

I'm 95% sure the trekking poles are this model:
http://www.blackdiamondequipment.com/en-us/shop/mountain/trekking-poles/trail-shock-compact-trekking-pole

And the daypack (mine is a prior year's color, but the design is unchanged):

Thanks,

Joe

Edit: Pack and poles are SOLD
