Edit: Oops my bad. Never liked those extended grips. Never utilized. Just dead weight. I would not like to buy poles unless I can try the grip out for myself.

There's been more than one thread discussing them in the last few months.

I'd prefer to buy used items if possible. Any used poles or daypacks floating around out there?

What capacity day pack are you lookong for?

I have a large Golite Litespeed pack (35L)that's been modified. Hydration sleeve removed, small internal pockets in hipbelt pockets removed, ice axe loops and tow loop removed and frame sheet lightened.

I have an orange Marmot Kompressor Plus daypack in very good, unmodified condition and some Black Diamond shock-absorbing flick-locks (well-used but functional) that I'd be willing to part with for $55 plus shipping for both the poles and pack as a set.
