A great comic on the power of science as applied to sporks

If nothing more than to help you realize there are other types of geeks out there.

( I would just post the comic image but I am unsure about copyright issues in this case)

FYI, that comic is from xkcd.com which is essential reading for geeks with a sense of humor.

By the way, that comic has a punchline: http://imgs.xkcd.com/comics/forks_and_spoons.png

Wow, yeah, I've been reading xkcd for years. There aren't many things on the interwebs that hold my attention that long. "Nerd Sniping" is one of my favorites. The earliest comics were clearly mere collegiate doodles- you have to get to comic #200 or so before they get really good. Some of his graphs have been used by major news outlets...

Definitely GEEK humor, so imagine it will go over well here.
