I'm hiking the Sierra High Route in July and am in need of a ride from the Fresno airport to Road's End (Copper Creek trailhead). Google Maps says it is 88mi and 1h53m each way.
If I can't get any interest here, I'll just post an ad on Craigslist. Thought I'd give people here a chance to earn some cash and help a fellow hiker out first.
There are two options schedule-wise:
1) Thu 7/12 - Pick me up at the Fresno airport when my flight lands at 10:30PM and drive me straight to the trailhead and drop me off. I'd camp there at 5,000' that night to get acclimated and an early start in the morning. This would be my preference. I'd even pay a bit more for this option.
2) Fri 7/13 - Pick me up at a motel in Fresno between 5:00AM and 5:30AM and drive me to the trailhead. This would be my second choice.
I'd be willing to pay $100 plus gas for the transport ($130 total). Does that sound reasonable?
