Glad the guy was ok...sucks for the bear but man the smell must've been so foul the bear just got pi$$ed off.

Well, that's not a viable option.

Heading for the outhouse check list:
Reading material?
Headlamp?
Toilet paper?
Wet Wipes?
Hand sanitizer?
Close pin for nose?
.44 magnum?

Those quarters are too tight for bear spray. Besides, if the smell of the outhouse didn't deter him, what makes you think bear spray will?

Still, it could be worse........

No clue, Roger.

Given it's location relative to both man and cat, it could be any caliber you want it to be and it would be out of reach and utterly useless.

cute cuddly bears will run away once you tell em yr a BPLer who cant be bothered to carry bear spray so you arent a few oz over XUL .... so BPLer keep on saying ;)

Actually, we have that photo in physical postcard form from some insurance company - spam in the letter box. Seems to have done the rounds.

And I reckon its a circus lion and the guy with the hat is the 'lion tamer', and its all a posed photo.
