1.9 oz rain jacket, FWIW on 05/22/2012 15:14:54 MDT Print View

"A shell that you can shove in your pocket for those unpredictable weather conditions, the Mountain Hardwear Ghost Whisperer Anorak jacket weighs

under 2 ounces

and is wind and water resistant. 7D fabric makes this a durable lightweight option for those days when the clouds start to creep towards the trail head. A deep neck zipper for ventilation and reflective trim for visibility makes this jacket ideal for long trail runs on either side of summer."

How rain resistant is it?

It's more of a wind shirt than a rain shell. Would probably wet out pretty quick.

Looks like a good wind shirt, but it isn't much of a rain jacket if it doesn't have a hood.
