I need a Bearikade Weekender for a hike starting 8/22/12 to approximately 9/7/12. Would like to rent it from you. Please let me know if you are interested. John

As a matter of fact, I went online recently to purchase the can. I have a continuing need. My cans are either too big or too small. However, when I was about to consummate the purchase, the $20.00 tax to the State of California arrested me causing the finger to seize up and was unable to push the button.

Hey the State needs that 20 more than ever. Going to go towards park budget cuts. If you don't buy now it could be more than $20 in the near future. And you might not be able to earn it.

Move out of state and you won't have to pay California tax on the purchase.

OK Actually I may be able to help. I am to pick up a Weekender on Aug 1st in Berkeley. If all goes according to plan, which I see no reason why it should not. So how would you like to arrangements to be handled?

As for my locale. Of late it seems like some of my posts may need a disclaimer.

Heya folks,
Since all the SF East Bay folks seem to be gathered here already, I too am interested in borrowing/renting a Weekender. I'll be doing my JMT some time Aug 10-31. Anyone in the Bay Area have one I could borrow? I'm in Berkeley myself. Would be glad to toss you a few bucks as a thank you.
