This weekend (April 27-29) hundreds of thru hikers, sectional hikers and vendors met at Lake Morena County Park in southern California to celebrate the Pacific Crest Trail and those who aspire to hike it.

Events included:
PCT short film festival.
Gear Contest.
Seminars.
Silent Auction for PCT memorabilia, lightweight gear, and other fun stuff.
Dinner on Friday and Saturday, and breakfast on Saturday and Sunday.

Vendors included:
Gossamer Gear.
Tarptent.
Ultralight Adventure Equipment (ULA).
Zpacks.
BearVault.
Trail Designs.
Six Moons Designs.
Adventure 16.
And others...

I had a great time meeting people and checking out gear. Attached are a few photos I shot Saturday.

I'm in San Diego and would love to attend had i known about this. I wanted to try some of the gear from vendors in attendance, but alas...

It's gotten so big. There were like 30-50 people the 3rd year. That was the last time I attended :(
