After reading several sleeping bag reviews I'm interested in buying a men's Campmor Down 20 sleeping bag. I headed back to Philmont again this summer and I'm trying to get my sleeping bag weight under 3 lbs (preferably 2.5 lbs). If you have one for sale PM me the info.

From what I can tell with a quick google, the bag you seek is very similar to a Kelty Cosmic down bag. If you can't find the Campmor one you're looking for, I imagine that would be essentially the same thing: 550 down, weight around 2.75lbs, priced about $100.

Campmor no longer makes them unfortunately. The Kelty Cosmic 20 or Light Year 40 (if you have extra clothing as needed) are your next best bets for low cost in down. They can sometimes be found on sale in the $70 range.

Bill, I have been a Campmor employee for over 13 years. I am sorry to say we no longer make or sell the sleeping bag you mentioned. However after reading your post I thought I might comment and give you these alternatives which might work just as well.

I have a pair of Campmor down sleeping bags in excellent condition that I'd be happy to sell at $100 (each) + paypal + shipping. I have the "mens" and "womens" bags, but honestly I don't think they're any different than "longer" and "shorter". I'd *prefer* to sell them as a pair, but will sell one singly if you're interested.
