Okay, so I'm about ready to start sewing on my 12' tipi that I posted about not too long ago...

Quick question, should I go with ladderlocs and nylon webbing for each of my 16 guy out points or linelocs and cord? I want to make some self tensioners which may be easier to do with the cord. However, I'm sure the webbing is stronger...

Looks like MLD uses linelocs.

I like linelocs a lot for smaller (solo or duo) shelters.

Not so sure about something the size of yours ... it will catch a lot of wind.

Our scout troop owns two of the large GoLite square mids (10x10 ft) that use 8 webbing/ladderlock guyouts ... that works well on those shelters.
