I'm paring down my Philmont list and was wondering if a bathing suit of any kind is needed. I know we're in the desert but are there opportunities to swim at any point? Thanks!

There are really no chances for swimming.

However, I hike in swim trunks - though that's another story altogether ;)

Thanks, this is exactly the information I needed. Scratch one bathing suit (and that unnecessary weight!)
