I think it would be wonderful if we could have an event as memorable as that motorcycle rally The Wild One is loosely based on.

Early October in the Pacific Northwest is Alpine season in northern Washington, so no way would I go elsewhere then! For those who haven't seen our larch trees that turn gold in the fall (IMHO, rivaling the mallorn trees in Lord of the Rings), come on up! The Alpine larch (at higher elevations) is usually best in early October, while the Western larch (at lower elevations) is best about mid-October.

I'd like a second event as well. Trinity Alps certainly was beautiful mid-October last year. Perhaps rotating locations to include other members and to see some different country as well?

It would be nice to hang out with everyone again. October would be perfect.

Which do you guys like better? We historically stayed at Wildcat.

I need to make the reservations mid April if we want any chance of getting the space we want.

Thinking about October 19-21, that's a Friday through Sunday.

Have family fun planned for the big 5.0!

I've never met any of you but I'd be interested in joining you if that would be allowed. Is it only for peoplr who have been before?

I like Wildcat better - the group sites seem to be closer together.

OK. So the consensus is that Wildcat suits everyone fine. I'll do the reservation thing next week. I will then update here.

OK. So I made the reservation today. Went with a group spot at Coast Camp. Spot number 13. Spot at Wildcat was already taken.
This gives us room for 25. Let me go through the messages and see what we are up to.

I know it is still a long way off, but I'm already excited to see you all again.
