p.s. I'm also emailing you this note. I'm a new BPL member (less than a month), and don't yet have much anything up on my profile. For the past couple of decades, I've taught college in northeastern Missouri. But I love mountains. I joined BPL in preparation gearing up (and lightening up) for a two week mountain backpack trip this summer. Trying to do some fairly significant replacement of heavier stuff with lighter, as well as paring down on items and going with some multifunctional gear.
