The ingrown hair is an indication you are shaving to much or too hard. Shaving to hard may also make your skin sensitive. If you just stopped shaving you likely would have more ingrown hair, for a while. Put onc the hair grows out its very likely you won't get any more ingrown hairs.

Another option is to switch to an electric shaver. Ingrown hair is typically not a problem for fhose that use electric shavers.

I recently discovered Slippery Dolphin Shave Oil. I was given a sample in a back country race in Aspen (Golden Leaf). This stuff is great. It is only 1/2 oz so it makes great for packing. Personally, I jes drag mah bowie over my face agin the grain. Whiskers come right off and the wimmins seem ta like it fine. Of course it's a Baledeo bowie and weighs 27 grams.
