I fully realise that most of you guys know diddly squat about ski jumps so just to fill you in , distance is the major factor but you get points for style (that has been taken care by ..to be revealed in a couple of days...) but you also get penalised if you are underweight. Roger worked very hard at overcoming the underweight problem.
Yes ,us Aussies like to win so we pull no punches when it comes to sport...

I believe the "natural insulation" is Roger's secret to going long stretches without resupply. Word on the street is that after this picture was taken, he was able to go 3 months out in the bush, hibernate for 4 more months, and hike another 2 months out. It's how he gets his svelte figure back. Or so I'm told...

We have to import snow from New Zealand, so it is a rather expensive exercise.
Of course we own plenty of snow ourselves (95% of Antarctica is ours...) but that is even more remote than NZ (hard to believe ,isn't it ?)

the Australian Institute Of Sport contacted Roger (he already worked for some other shady Gov organization) and lo and behold Roger decided to be a consultant as well as the lead athlete.
I have high hopes for this and at this point, I think that neither the Norwegians nor them Finns will be able to catch up .

Don't worry about the attire, that particular shot was just the "undressed rehearsal" to use to finalise the suit.
The tricky part here is that the suit has to be made of one fabric only (all of it) but here is the best part, it will be a new material that will completely turn the sport on its head.
I cannot show a picture of the fully clothed Roger in flight but I will soon drop a strong hint about the material used.

Oddly there was a bit of confusion about that "large hill jump" due to an error on the emphasis in that sentence, however that worked out in our favour in the end.
( no Australian till recently had ever watched that sport, looks kind of pointless, but a Gold medal is a Gold medal...)
