So I bought the new Apple iPad just for kicks. I'm trying out the dictation feature to see how it works. I'm doing this whole post using the dictation feature instead of typing it in. I'd say it works exceptionally well. It hasn't made a mistake yet. This could really be a godsend for people who don't type well or who don't like to type. To be honest I am really quite amazed at just how well this feature works.

i wonder how well the iPad dictation feature will work with dialects, such as that found in Bawlmer, Merlin, hon.

Balmer - the city, hon
Merlin - the state where Bawlmer is, hon.
warsh - how you clean up
wudder - what you use to clean up
zinc - where you clean up
downy ayshin - where you go in the summer
Warshinn - the nation's capitol.
