Had a thought the other day, and just put it together this morning. I used a .13oz plastic-mesh sack from a bag of fruit, wove a length of cord I saved from some broken window blinds, around the opening, and a clip - and I've got a .26oz, very stretchy (non waterproof!) stuffsack. And free!

Those work well, don't they!? Stretchy too.

Using it to contain my various toiletries / emergency kit. Spent the afternoon repackaging and removing items, and along with replacing the stuffsack with this mesh one, saved 6 oz.

6oz is huge!
