Not sure if you have a group or plans formed yet, but if not and you are interested in turning this into a weekend trip (start Friday afternoon-finish Sunday night) I could definitely swing it depending on the location.

I'm doing trip research now and leaning towards doing the lower Escalante River. It's too long for a weekend.

I could definitely be swayed if one of you has a high clearance offroad vehicle that would get us to an interesting, remote trailhead.

I don't think my Subaru counts as high clearance.

I've decided to do the Escalante, so I'll be out for the week.

I'll be the bearded guy hitch hiking on Hole in the Rock road on Saturday/Sunday. Anyone want to pick me up?!
