How do you stack wood in the bushbuddy? Do you stack wood horizontal or do you stack them vertical? Is one way better than the other and why.

I like to build a tipi, others like to build a log cabin (biggest pieces on the bottom). Both ways work fine. Once the fire is going you're feeding pieces in from the top so it doesn't make a lot of difference how you start your fire.

stacking ???

drop a couple of p-bar wrappers in there for tinder, and lay the wood on top. there is no need to overthink the situation.
shove more wood in while it is running as fast as it will take it.
do not burn coal. it runs too hat.
