Hey! What's wrong with fishing hats? Being one of those stereotypical old fisherman, I have to say that there is a reason they look like that... once again, form follows function.

That's not an ugly hat and not what I think of as looking like an old man's fishing hat. This is:

I think it's the floppy, bucket hat style. Seems like the better looking hats are ones you can't stuff in your pack. They have a stiffer brim.

I think socks and sandals in the Sawtooths is sweetly stylish.
