Coming to market soon!! A Japanese researcher has developed a "speech jammer gun" that can be pointed at loudmouths, and the gun's delayed auditory feedback (DAF), will turn their own voices against them in a disconcerting fashion, to compel them to clam up.

I just tell them to shut up. Real fun with little kids in the grocery store. I want a car mounted one to drown out annoying music from other drivers.

Is the manufacture of that product carbon neutral? Has it been tested for noise pollution, environmental impact, and is it UL certified? Does it need FDA approval?

So what happens if two opposing sides use these against each other? Would it be a verbal Cold War?

Or what happens when some crazy SOB figures out how to mess with the programming and *amplify* their argument? Screw the Carbon Flame War; it'd be a Carbon Flame Nuclear Holocaust!
