ID has several new shelters on their site. Shelters are now divided into Expedition Series, Mountain Series, Ultralight Series and Tarps (doesn't look like anything new in Tarps).

In the "UL" category, take a look at the Traverse 2, Element 2 and Element Solo (an 11 oz basic Sil A-frame at $80.00 could be a good simple emergency shelter or entry-level shelter)

Edit: forgot a comma!

Both ends of the Element 2 must be the same appearance since it has two doors.

Those tunnel offerings look nice also....floorless....

The 2person is 3lbs (similair size as a hilleberg nallo) and $300

At first glance I thought the tunnel offerings were comparable to Hilleberg and a lot cheaper. But then I realized the inner is sold separately, and the outer lacks enough guy lines for serious wind.

Edit: I could be reading the guy line details wrong and the price is definitely competitive.

Traverse 2 + inner is $450 and 5 lbs 5 oz min weight.

Nallo 2 is $625 and 5 lbs 1 oz

Looks like they made a slightly taller, side entry Wedge Bivy:

nallo 2 on 02/27/2012 20:55:00 MST Print View

the nallo has a solid inner though.

and the traverse shelter doesn't have a big vestibule in conjunction with the bug shelter.

so the nallo 2 is actually lighter and offers more comfort, it might be to short for long people though.

the traverse could be really interesting with a shorter custom made solid inner tent

A bit on the heavy side.

They primarily build mountain shelters. Sometimes the weight is warranted.

The sil-cordura that they use is heavier than regular silnylon, but incredibly strong. Definitely something that won't fail easily out there.
