Anyone know what the point is? Maybe a bit nicer against the skin in a bivy or something?

It's a puzzle to me. Perhaps mesh adds strength?

Agree. Thought about doing this with propore also, but at around 3 o/s/y, there's no point.

The mesh keeps out the bugs. The ones that feed on Tyvek.
