pot stand? on 02/24/2012 11:54:02 MST Print View

I have a Evernew UL Ti 1.3L pot and was looking for a pot stand I could use for either wood or alcohol. Does anyone still make these? Thanks.

Brett, have you seen this thread? If this sort of support might work for you, I'm happy to make one. Send me an e-mail at my home (drzooz@aol.com) and we can discuss things.

Brett,

If you want the top of the line, I can't recommend anything more highly than a Ti-Tri Caldera Cone for an Evernew 1.3L pot.

Works great on alcohol. Works great on hexamine (e.g. ESBIT). Works great with wood. Not cheap, but dang is it nice. And very versatile. I cooked an omelet recently using wood as my fuel.

The MOST efficient stand "for wood or alky" is a CC Sidewinder (ti) or its larger brother the Tri Ti. They very likely make one to fit your pot, probably Tri Ti Caldera Cone.

The Inferno woodburner is really a gassifier insert kit and therefore very efficient. I'm still amazed at its efficiency.
