FS: Closet Cleaning! rain gear, tent, tarp, packs, pad, etc... on 02/16/2012 18:47:49 MST Print View

Well, the time has come to get rid of all the gear I will not be using for my thru hike! I just guessed at values based on what I want vs what you can get it for online.

ULA Ohm medium hipbelt, large torso, asking $140: Bought this summer and only used a couple times since I got my zpacks zero. I also have the ULA rain cover and all accessories that come with it.

REI Trekker 1.75" Women's pad asking $25: Bought a few years ago and it is lightly used. No odor, still self inflates and has been stored under my bed with the valve open.

MLD Prophet size small asking $100: SOLD**
MSR Fling Asking $50: SOLD**
MSR Dromedary 10L asking $20: SOLD**
Marmot Essense rain jacket size M asking $50: SOLD**
Gossamer Gear Spinn Twinn asking $125: SOLD**
ArcTeryx Alpha SL rain pants size M asking $100: SOLD**
REI Ridgeline 65L pack size M asking $50: SOLD**

Thanks for looking,
Phillip

R value 4.4, 66"x20"x1.75", 2lbs1oz

Ha ha, had I realized it had such a high R value I'd consider taking it on my thru in the beginning. Just kidding though, I couldn't even fit it in my pack now.

maybe final bump on 02/21/2012 12:56:53 MST Print View

Probably the last time I'll bump this. Throw out offers if you like I'll consider them.

And...

All packages shipped this morning. Apparently yesterday was presidents' day so they were closed.

Maybe they could be had cheaper elsewhere but the cheapest I saw online without much searching was $199 for these pants. You'd have to at least pay shipping for whatever service you want. Gosh I hate to let the go for that You couldn't do $85 and I'll ship pay to ship em?

You have to click their name to do it I think is the only way but first you have to edit your profile to allow PMs.

Don't even worry about it though Lee, just email me ( pdcolelli42 AT gmail dot com ).

I can do 80.00 if that includes shipping. I would love to have them but my budget is tight.

Logan I tried to PM you but you also need to change your profile settings to allow it. If you give me your zip code let me figure shipping but I'm assuming it will be at least if not more than $10.

Rain Pants Fit on 02/21/2012 13:36:49 MST Print View

Phillip,

It looks like you and Logan are going to iron out a deal, but I was curious about the fit of the rain pants. I'm not too concerned about the waist since they use elastic, but the inseam is always a problem for me. I'm just shy of six feet tall but my waist x inseam is a 32 x 34, which makes shopping for pants a nightmare... Could you comment on the fit so I can either add them to my wish list or scratch them off due to my oddly proportioned body?

Thanks!
