If the good lord sends some deep snow for an upcoming snowshoe trip, I'll need tarp stakes that will work in snow (I use titanium shepherds hook stakes and carbon fiber stakes for dry, bare ground). Who can suggest good stakes for snow? I don't want to count on finding logs to tie my guylines, so a stake that you can sink or bury in snow would be beneficial. Please offer suggestions. Thanks.

I like the MHW parachute style snow stakes - sewing your own silinylon ones might be the best...

Cut some plastic roof guttering into any length you require. Saw one end into a 'V', drill a couple of holes into it for cord, and you're sorted.

Anna, you provide an awesome service by always adding links.

I don't want to sniff a gift fish, but may I suggest one tiny improvement to the links you add?

<a href="LINK">LINK</a>

This would make clickable links!
