I have some different old down equipment lying around, and want to use the down in a pair of down/primaloft pants (primaloft on knees and seat, rest of the pant down) and a DAM.
Any tips on how to extract the down effectively? Soaking the down and scooping out the wet down? Vacuum cleaner?

shop vac with the tube blocked with no see um mesh like some people do to load into quilts etc would probably work.
