Ti Pot at REI on 01/28/2012 14:13:48 MST Print View

I have an REI gift card and I want to get a Ti pot that can be used for two people. Interested in the Titan kettle or the Ti ware .9. I can't decide which one. I'd like to add a sidewinder down the road, but will using on my Coleman fx1. Im left handed so concerned about the right only pour on the rei pot. Advice please!

If you only want to pour with your left hand then that should make the decision for you - they are both excellent. I own the REI pot (made by Evernew) and love it, esp the handles.

If you want to use as a big mug then the Ti Kettle is the only choice.

The Ti-ware .9 is lighter, in my recollection, but they are almost gone as REI has clearanced out most, if not all of their Ti-ware line, which was made by Evernew.

Mmm looks like the sidewinder isn't made for the kettle. I have a caldera keg, is the benefit of the sidewinder a real consideration in making my choice?
