Can anyone give me a specific source for sheet foam that would be good for making my own insoles? This would be to both replace worn out insoles and to create an extra layer of light insulation in winter. I've tried commerical insoles of various sorts and most have way too much arch support for me. I've ordered sheet foam from a couple sources, but it's always been too flexibe, or the material has crushed down flat permanently.
Anyone know a sheet foam that is light, not too flexible, and doesn't crush?
I saw it mentioned in an old thread that blue closed cell foam (CCF) works, but where can you get that in something like 1/8" or 1/4" thicknesses?
