I like it. I like it a lot.

My own style would for beer can sides and a coat hanger wire strut (waste 1 gram but save $5 plus I'd have the materials on hand). But to each their own.

And, I suppose, if you're going to spend a few hours pursuing absolutely minimum weight, you might as well use a few dollars of the best materials.
